Glamor Magazine


Glamor Magazine is a photography based couture fashion magazine that tackles lifestyle issues.

Why?


Inspired by the narrative of “The Great Gatsby,” this edition of Glamor Magazine focuses on the influence money has on relationships and how the love for a person can be confused with the love of their wealth.

Process


This project consisted of a lot of experimentation. Initially, I did a lot of brainstorming, sketching, and researching. Numerous revisions and changes were made to the wardrobe, photographs, poses, set designs, layouts, and type choices throughout the course of this project. The magazine was then crafted. I printed, cut, and pasted each spread to each other. I also decided to cut the cover’s lettermark out with an x-acto blade to reveal gold foil underneath it.
